Headshots and portraits for corporate, commercial and editorial use are a specialty of Rochester, Minnesota-based commercial photographer, Dean Riggott.

Photographing people is a special form of commercial and editorial photography, as it requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to put subjects at ease, so that they can relax in front of the camera, allowing the photographer to capture each person’s unique personality. Whether it’s a physician, biker, arborist or musician, Dean will find their unique attributes and bring out the best in the subject. “There’s nothing I enjoy more than photographing people and creating compelling images with impact, intrigue, beautiful light and that help tell their story.”

Dean’s environmental portraits have been featured in exhibits around Minnesota, including the Rochester Art Center and Bloomington Art Center. Many of his compelling professional portraits adorn the walls of banks, hotels, colleges and hospitals, as well as private residences.
