A couple of months ago I flew down to Knoxville, Tennessee, for an industrial photography shoot for Bailey Hydraulics. This was my first time shooting for this company, but I always love industrial photography shoots, so was thrilled to be doing this one. Although it’s always a lot of extra work when a shoot is in another state and I have to travel. I have to arrange for an assistant in the area, figure out how I’m going to get all my gear there, which is usually a mix of rentals and carry-on bags, since it’s a big risk checking bags and having them get lost, then hotels, rental cars and so on. But everything went as smooth as could be expected for this one, other than not being able to get a rental car at the airport on a Sunday and no Uber drivers hauling people due to the pandemic! Such strange times we are living in.
