Farming, farmland and agriculture have always been one of my favorite subjects to photograph. It all started back in the mid 1990s when I was working as a photojournalist for the Rochester Post-Bulletin newspaper, who also happens to publish Agri News, which is a weekly agricultural paper. Somehow I got stuck shooting for them a few days a week and absolutely hated it. I was a city boy in my 20s who had no farming background and absolutely no interest in agriculture. But over time I began to love it and now do it because I love it so much. Anyway, below are a few highlights from my recent travels around southern Minnesota.
