Last week I did an architectural photography shoot for Knutson Construction and HGA of the recently renovated 10th floor of Mayo’s Siebens building. Such a beautiful space for Mayo’s school of Health Sciences. Fun fact: The Siebens building sits on the site of the original Mayo building, which was referred to as “The Mayo Clinic” and later “The 1914 Building.” The four story building was torn down in the 80s to make way for the much larger Siebens Building. And prior to that it was the site of Dr W. W. Mayo’s home. Dr Charlie Mayo was actually born in this house in 1865.
