Last week I spent a couple of days shooting some new images for the University of Minnesota—Rochester campus (UMR). From students in class at their downtown space to hanging out at Potbelly’s, walking historic Third Street and socializing in the lounge of 318 Commons. I’ve been doing campus life photography/college photography for more than a decade and it’s one of my favorite subjects to shoot. There’s just something about spending time on college campuses documenting these kids that is inspiring and gratifying for me. We had a few really awesome groups of students lined-up for this shoot and it was a beautiful fall day. All-in-all we got a lot accomplished, especially considering we only put in two half days.
