The Great Soap Company!

This past week I did some product photography for an old friend, Lisa (Austin) Janet, from way back in elementary school who now has a small, independent, soap company based right here in Rochester, Minnesota. These are beautiful and incredibly awesome all-natural bars of soap with ingredients such as cherries, lavendar, tapioca pearls, poppy seeds, olive oil, cocoa butter, bees wax, tea tree oil, oatmeal, coconut oil, rosemary and so on! And their prices are incredibly reasonable, especially compared to many of their competitors. As a commercial photographer based right here in Rochester, Minnesota, this was a perfect fit for me, so I offered to photograph Lisa’s soap products for her. We set-up in my home studio and used an old, rustic, coffee table I have in my living room, which was perfect for these hand-crafted soap products! My daughter, Ava, was home sick from school, so she had fun helping us out and even arranged the soaps with the lemon drops all by herself! It was a good time and we got some great images of her products, which are now featured on her website:
