Today I drove up to Wayzata, which is just west of Minneapolis, Minnesota, to do some food photography for Sushi Fix. They’ve been a client for several years now, so I think I’ve now photographed everything on their menu. As a matter of fact, if you go to the “gallery” section of their website there are literally 73 images that I’ve shot over the past five years! Anyway, I always love shooting here as the people are super friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. A couple of years ago I even got to try a bite of their $100 wagyu roll, which was incredible. I’ve also gotten to try the wagyu hand roll and the tuna poke (both pictured here), which are both favorites of mine. So, so good! There are definitely perks that come along with being a professional food photographer!
