Farming and agriculture have always been one of my favorite subjects to photograph. It all started back in the mid 1990s when I was working as a photojournalist for the Rochester Post-Bulletin newspaper, who also happened to publish Agri News, which is a weekly agricultural paper. Somehow I got stuck shooting for them a few days a week and absolutely hated it. I was a city boy in my 20s who had no farming background and absolutely no interest in agriculture. But over time I began to appreciate the people, the commitment and dedication, as well as the lifestyle. Now do it because I love it so much! Anyway, below are some of my favorites from the past few years.
