I recently did a few shoots for Minnesota Corn Growers Association, who are a favorite client of mine. The following images are from the Les anderson farm near Cannon Falls, Minnesota. I got to spend a few hours with Les hanging around and shooting him working around the farm. Some were actual chores and others were done for the camera. I typically wouldn’t stage this sort of thing, but the client needed specific shots during this phase of corn growth, and, well, that had taken place a few weeks before I was there! So, I photographed a little with his soybeans and a little with the corn! Then we made a trip to Red Wing Grain, which sits along the Mississippi River in Red Wing, Minnesota. All in all it was a good shoot. And farm life photography has always been a favorite of mine, so I was happy!
