Industrial photography has been a staple of my commercial photography business for more than 30 years now and is one of my favorite subjects to photograph. There’s just something cool and interesting about being in all these factories and production facilities that I enjoy. I don’t do much industrial work in Rochester, Minnesota, where I live, but I’m frequently traveling around to facilities throughout the country. Coming up next month I’ll be in the Indianapolis area for a week shooting for Donaldson. And I have another up in St. Croix Falls and Osceola for Vulcan, which is an oil and aerospace client based in Texas. Other industrial clients include Bailey International, Aggressive Hydraulics, Minnesota Limited, Pure Humidifer, Ellingson Companies, Central Sandblasting, Vetter Stone, Platec Tooling and Atek Precision Castings.
