This week I did an architectural photography shoot for HGA of the newly renovated Courtyard Commons in the Francis building of St Marys Hospital right here in Rochester, Minnesota. Photographing architecture has always been a favorite subject since it’s just me, a space and the light. Although since this space is open from 7am to 7pm, the only way I could get it during the daylight hours was to work around all the workers and patients using the space. That’s where slow shutter speeds and the Photoshop blur tool come in handy!
