Greetings! I’m back after slacking on the blog for a few weeks!
Below are highlights from a shoot I did last month for Knutson Construction over at Mayo Clinic Hospital St Marys Campus in Rochester where they were pouring cement for a patio area between the old Mary Brigh building and the new addition they are currently building. I had just returned from my trip to Haiti (highlights coming soon!) the day before, so this was quite a change from photographing life in a warm third world country to a cement pour in 35° temperatures! But at least this one paid better! ;-)
As a commercial photographer I am consistently photographing construction projects for clients such as Knutson Construction. Each one is unique in it’s own way and I enjoy capturing compelling images that my clients can use to market the work they do. Typically Knutson Construction has me photographing their completed projects, and although architectural photography is one of my favorite things to shoot, I also love capturing images of guys like this working hard at their trade. And it’s this variety that keeps me inspired and motivated!
I have been shooting for Knutson for almost a decade now, documenting their work in Rochester, Minneapolis and St Paul, Minnesota. They are one of the premiere commercial builders in the state and are a terrific company to work for!
